Anarchism Versus Primitivism
This important pamphlet looks closely at the fundamental conflicts between anarchism and primitivism. Fascism /Anti-Fascism by Jean Barrot
Barrot’s thesis is very simple; it is that struggling against fascism (in particular) necessarily entails supporting democracy, that capitalism will necessarily remain intact if antifascists support one of its forms against another. All manifestations of antifascism ultimately strengthen the democratic state at the expense of the class struggle; thus both fascism and its nemesis antifascism lead to totalitarianism (the strong state) not communism. Dictatorship, says Barrot, is not a weapon of capital but a tendency of capital. Printed in Croatia. ISBN 978-1-909798-63-2 Cover Price £1

Great Anarchists 7, Pierre Jozeph Proudhon
Proudhon is famous for two reasons. First, he’s the author of What is Property? the book containing the immortal phrase “property is theft!” Second, he has emerged as the ‘first’ anarchist. This accolade is explained in part by his provocative reclamation of ‘anarchy’. Until Proudhon published his critique of property in 1840 the term had only been applied pejoratively. In the other part, it comes from his encounter with Marx. In 1846 Proudhon rebuffed Marx’s tentative advances and hinted that he found his proposals dogmatic. On Anarchism, Marxism and Hope for the Future by Noam Chomsky
“I was attracted to anarchism as a young teenager, as soon as I began to think about the world beyond a pretty narrow range, and haven’t seen much reason to revise those early attitudes since. I think it only makes sense to seek out and identify structures of authority, hierarchy, and domination in every aspect of life, and to challenge them; unless a justification for them can be given, they are illegitimate, and should be dismantled, to increase the scope of human freedom.” so says Noam Chomsky in this A6 pocket book pamphlet.
